KCC Music Committee

Meeting Minutes – Dec. 5, 2005

 

Attending: Annette Banulski, Kay Murray, Greg Benoit, Pawel Jura, Steve Wnuk

 

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m.  The minutes from the previous meeting were accepted.

 

Music Director’s Report

-         Safe Church policy is being revised so until a final version is approved the Music Committee will do the following:

o       Make sure there are two unrelated adults at Jr. Choir rehearsal

o       Have parents sign the disclosure form that C.E. uses

o       In September put info about Jr. Choir with Sunday School info

-         All three choirs did a great job performing this past Sunday.

-         All three choirs will perform on Dec. 18 for both the  morning service and White Gifts service.

-         No rehearsals for any choirs for three weeks after Dec. 18.

-         Dec. 24th 11pm services include Bell and Senior Choir .

-         Dec. 25th service volunteer Sr. Choir only.

-         Pawel will participate in the Women’s Service League service on Dec. 6.

-         Terri Perrelli has informed Pawel that the joint service with Spottswood is on again.  Details to follow.

-         The New Pastor Search Committee will meet with Pawel the beginning of February.

 

Existing Business

-         Our concert is rescheduled for March 26th. 

o       Program includes The McGee School Sound Express, our Bell Choir and possibly trumpet players.

o       Need to contact the Jr. Women’s League and the Kiwanis to find out about the use of the Community Boards.  Also we will post a sign by the Civil War monument outside our church.

o       Refreshments will be cookies, finger foods and punch.  Sr. Choir will be asked to help with this.

-         Jan. 28 recital at 7:30 with members of the CCSU Music Dept.  Pawel will get details.

 

Our next meeting will be Jan. 9, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting adjourned at 7:32 p.m.
