sister Churches

Spottswood A. M. E. Zion

For over fifteen years, our congregation has had a "sister Church" relationship with the pastor and people of Spottswood African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church in New Britain. Together, we've held programs to learn how we can overcome racism and work together, as Christ intends. We also have sponsored joint worship services, educational and social activities, and continue a monthly dialogue with one another.

El Salvador

We have had a special relationship with our sister church,Pan de Vida, in El Salvador for more than 20 years. Money is sent annually to help with the needs of the Church and community. Our congregation provides funding so that 40 children of Pan de Vida can go to school each year. We have also provided the Church with a new stove and supplies to begin a bread making business which will help them attain greater financial self-sufficiency.
