Senior Pilgrim Fellowship (PF)

All high school youth are invited to participate in our yearly Workcamp trip. The focus of this group is to plan, fundraise, and participate in a Workcamp trip, where we provide assistance, such as home repairs, to individuals in needy areas outside of Connecticut . Workcamp trips are an outreach and mission experience that youth (and adults) of our church have found to be an extremely rewarding and faith forming experience.

Junior Pilgrim Fellowship (Jr.PF)

Jr.PF is our middle school youth group. This group meets twice monthly. The focus of this group is:

· Build a strong peer community,

· Grow and challenge our faith, and

· Put our faith into action by reaching out in service to our church, the community, and the world.

Confirmation

High school students meet on alternate Sundays from 6:30 to 8 pm for twenty weeks. Here they prepare to claim the church's faith and covenant as their own. Topics covered include the nature of God; Worship; the Bible; prayer; Christian history, our denominational family; how our Congregation works; our relationship with other denominations and religions, ; and moving from "knowing about" God to "knowing" God. A weekend retreat in the winter, service projects, and a mentor relationship with someone in the congregation round out the program.
